Cripps Pink' is a cultivar of apple. It is one of several cultivars, from which apples that meet quality standards can be sold under the trade mark name Pink Lady. Pink LadyApples have a crunchy texture and a tart taste with a sweet finish. The white flesh is juicy and crisp, and offers a “fizz-like” burst of flavor.
A recent scientific study, conducted at the University of Western Australia, found that the Pink Lady variety had the highest level of antioxidant flavonoids. Accordingly, they have a good claim to the title of the healthiest apple to eat.
