Chervil is used, particularly in France, to season poultry, seafood, young spring vegetables (such as carrots), soups, and sauces. More delicate than parsley, it has a faint taste of liquor ice or aniseed.

This herb is a great source for minerals like magnesium, selenium, potassium, manganese, calcium and many vitamins including vitamin B. Chervil is also a good source of vitamin C and beta carotene.
