A vital part of the Lebanese culinary heritage, labneh is the by-product of yogurt straining that forms a dense, spreadable cream. The latter is often adorned with extra virgin olive oil, and is accompanied with tomato, cucumber, mint, and olive. This delicacy carries a strong and sour taste reminiscent of the rural life.
