A cortado is in short an espresso with milk, and is a coffee variant which is especially popular in Portugal and Spain where it is usually served in a glass. It is very similar in its style to the French Café au Lait, but differs by being Espresso based which gives it a stronger taste, in addition to the fact that it has an absence of milk foam.
Here you get a cortado created in the usual Nescafé quality of exquisite Arabica and Robusta beans. It is slightly sweetened, and has notes of almond and pecan which gives it a nice, balanced taste.
A cortado like this works well for those who like to enjoy a little milk in the coffee, but who also want a cup where the coffee taste dominates more than in a Café Au Lait.
