Product Description: The Frozen Wagyu Chuck Roll is a superior quality Japanese style beef. This subprimal cut from the back of the neck up to the fifth rib of the cow is popular for its deep beefy flavours. The well-marbled meat has few inches of similar muscle as ribeye which makes it suitable for Yakiniku, shabu-shabu, and steak. Chuck Roll is traditionally stewed and braised so the muscle fibres break down as they are sinewy and tough. It is priced 20% lower than the striploin and ribeye meats.
