The skin is hard and inedible but is easy to cut. The fruit contains a jelly-like pulp with black edible seeds. The taste of the flesh is lovely and sweet. Granadillas are best kept out of the fridge at home.

Storing Sprouts
Hearty sprouts such as mung bean can be kept in a sealed plastic bag in the fridge, but more delicate varieties such as pea shoots and alfalfa sprouts need ventilation and should be refrigerated in the plastic containers they're sold in. They should keep for 2 to 3 days.

Product Description: The Pepino melon has a light-yellow to light-green skin, streaked with purple variegations. The flesh, when ripe is golden yellow with a narrow seed cavity. The Pepino melon is entirely edible: skin, flesh, pulp, and seeds.
The yellow interior is fine-grained and sweetly aromatic, intensifying as it ripens. Its flavor can be described as a mix of banana and pear, with a slightly bitter bite. Its size is inconsistent and can be as small as a plum or as large as papaya.
The skin of the Pepino melon is edible but if tough and unpalatable it can easily be peeled away. Ripen at room temperature. Pair with lemons or limes, sweet basil, honey, chiles, chayote, and coconut. Serve in fresh salads and sauces. Store ripe Pepino melons in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Banana Shallots are longer than the ordinary round shallots. They're supposedly named for their shape, though they're not really banana shaped as in with a curve and all; they're more torpedo-shaped -- though presumably someone decided the term "torpedo shallots" would be off-putting.
They have smooth, tan-coloured skin. Some varieties have almost all white flesh inside, others are white at the core with the outer layers of flesh being pink, purple, etc.

Brown Shimeji has long small stems and a half- round, brown cap. The brown Shimeji is also known as the Brown Beech Mushrooms or Buna- Shimeji. The mushrooms grow as a bundle. Shimeji has a somewhat bitter taste, but has a great taste upon cooking.
