Product Description: Harissa «El Manar» is the product obtained after preserving by heat treatment of fresh red pepper pulp from the Caspsicum annuum species, seasoned exclusively with fresh garlic paste, freshly ground caraway powder and coriander powder (48 hours) and non-iodized cooking salt. The pepper varieties that can be used for the production of “El Manar” brand canned Harissa are the classic Tunisian varieties known under the names BELDI, MESKI, BAKLOUTI and MSERREH from Kairouan, and failing that, the varieties or mixtures of assimilated pepper varieties with the same organoleptic and technological characteristics of the red pepper product from the Caspsicum annuum species.
