Product Description: The wild bilberry is a perennial dwarf shrub approximately 30 cm (11.81 in) high. It typically grows in coniferous forests. Some of its substrates include slightly shady woods, northern slopes, the edges of clear-felled areas and the banks of forest ponds. The bilberry harvesting period lasts from the end of July to the beginning of September
Berrie +Fiber Wild Bilberry & Plum +Fibre contains soluble Fibersol-2 fibre, insoluble citrus fibre and fibre from the berries. The product is high in fibre, with a fibre content of 6,6 g / 100 g. One Berrie+ Fibre cup of 100 covers 20 % of the Finnish nutrition recommendation for daily fibre intake. There is more fibre in one cup than there is in a bowlful of oatmeal.
